Remembering Napoli (Naples Italy). As a pizza connoisseur Vesuvius pizza ranks a 10 out of 10, every bit as good as pizza in Naples Italy. If there is no char on the crust there is no flavor in the pie. Papa John’s, Dominos can’t hold a candle to this style of pizza! A bit pricey yet worth every penny. After two and one-half years in Italy we were introduced to this style of pie in Naples, WOW! Try a bottle, or a glass of Chianti with your pizza and live a little!
Yum. Love the pizza! you order, they make and you have it in just a few minutes. It’s my second favorite pizza ever. A little light on the sauce and toppings, but innovative and the crust is perfection. If you like chain style pizza don’t go here. I thought the staff seemed a bit surly at first, but as soon as I started asking about their favorites they smiled and were wonderful.
Wonderful!! Fresh, local ingredients, and believe me, you can taste the difference. We stopped to pick up pizzas on our way home to Minneapolis from Denver. We were able to call ahead and our pizzas were ready to pick up, so we didn’t waste any time on our journey. We all loved our pizzas, it was exactly what we wanted. The haters are probably expecting Dominos-style pizza, but if you appreciate a true, wood-fired Neapolitan style pizza, you will love this place!!
