Best Sports Bar in Town.. WTP has the best atmosphere and food in town when it comes to sports bars. Buffalo Wild Wings is the classic alternative, but if you’re looking for a local restaurant that’s not part of a chain, this is the way to go.

Bad Service. We went for drinks after a movie. They were not busy at all and it took a long time to be served. Also the waitress was very rude and didn’t know what it means to have customer service. We will never go there again!!!
I enjoy the food very much, that being said as an Ames resident I have found that West Towne Pub has the WORST service in town. I personally have waited over an hour after being seated to get food without any apology. Save your time and your money and visit an establishment that actually values you as a customer.
Philly steak sandwich was perfect. Our server was terrific, but the hostess was horrible. Fun atmoshere similar to a sports bar.
