The staff here is so friendly! It definitely feels like a small-town diner. The food is great, some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had! You need to check this place out!
Awful coffee and breakfast. Visiting and wanted a local restaurant experience; it’s not easy to make awful eggs, toast and coffe, but somehow the Ankeny Cafe managed. The omelette was dry and served with disgusting plastic-like slice of american cheese on top and canned mushrooms inside. Toast was cold and soggy served with immitation butter. And, the biggest disappointment of all was the brown water pretending to be coffee.
This local caf is a great place to grab some delicious homemade breakfast. They’re hashbrowns are hand sliced from full fresh potatoes and everything is made fresh and served hot! The staff is very friendly too! Overall, a great place to eat and have coffee! The coffee is great too!!
Cute!. Love the home-town feel. Really, really cozy. Milk shakes are freaking awesome and stinkin’ huge! Staff is super friendly.
Good service, good prices. What I love most is that this cafe doesn’t overload you with huge portions, its just right, I’ve NEVER had a bad meal here!
