Stopped in one night by myself for a quick bite. Friendly staff, clean modern decor, and fantastic menu. I ordered a spicy sampler platter & calamari and was pleased to find out that it also came with a salad & miso soup. EVERYTHING was amazing! I can’t wait to stop back in there!

Not very good.. I got a burned roll. It had a very acrid, bitter flavor that stayed in my mouth for hours. I thought it was a mistake, but they told me it was normal because people liked it that way. The sushi was bland. Spicy mayo was made wrong like everywhere else in the midwest. I really miss good sushi….

Tasty and affordable. The sushi was delicious (try the Super Volcano roll!). The unagi don was a little pricey, and not the best I’ve had, but still pretty good. The prices were otherwise very fair and the service was pretty good. Will definitely eat there again! 4.5/5

Decent for Quad Cities. It’s not the best sushi you’ll have by far, but for Quad Cities, it’s not too bad. I recommend getting their special rolls, their regular rolls (such as tuna roll, salmon roll, eel roll) tend to be smaller than Osaka’s. Their fried dishes (such as tempura and spring rolls) also tend to be greasy so I’d stay away from those.

Not bad, but not the best. The seaweed in the rolls was super chewy and tough and really interfered with the overall enjoyment. I was able to pull the entire, whole piece of seaweed out after I chewed the rest of the sushi-gross. I told the waitress and she wasn’t able to give an explanation, but did keep my water glass full. Meh.

So good. We have been there three times in four weeks. So good. The sushi is amazing, presented beautifully and the service was very fast. We will go back again. And again…And again.

I saw the good reviews, and decided to try it out (since I am a sushi-lover). We went here for lunch, ordered the lunch specials, and were disappointed. The food was oily and lukewarm, and the sushi was falling apart. The food did not taste fresh at all, and left an uneasy feeling afterward. This could be just my experience of their lunch entrees…perhaps they use leftover food from the night before, mark it down, and serve it as a lunch special (as many Chinese places do). Regardless, I didn’t enjoy my experience.
