First time here, had the butter chicken with basmati rice and raita and chose the garlic naan. It was delicious! They have a buffet from 11am to 2pm Monday through Friday. The food is delicious and decent priced. I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy Indian food!

Just plain bad. This was absolutely the worst Indian meal that i have had here. I have eaten here a few times within the past few months, and it was really good. The meal was horrendous. Most of it was not edible. I think that they figured out that you don’t have to have that high standards to make money right next to a University. I will never go here again.
This restaurant is not good.I went there and had one of the chicken dishes. It was not cooked and the food was not very tasty in general. The atmosphere also seemed very haphazardly put together. Also, the service was not the best, and it was not a busy night. Lastly, the only thing good about it was the bread, which was freshly made.
I found the food here to be awful. It tasted like freezer food that was microwaved. The chicken in my dish and my boyfriends dish were undercooked as well. The only positive thing about this place is the naam. I will not be going here again.
Excellent Pakistani/Indian. This place is fantastic. Buffet Mon – Fri. But ordering off the menu is great as well. Prices, portions, and flavors are wonderful. This is my favorite restaurant in Cedar Falls Waterloo. There are not a lot of tables, so it can be busy during the lunch rush. The other times I have gone it has been quiet. People who run it are extremely nice.
BEST Indian option in Cedar Falls. I have been to Masala Grill several times since they recently opened. They’re absolutely superior to their cross-town rival in terms of food price, quality, and quantity. Put their naan bread with any dish and you’ll be in heaven (especially the buttered chicken)! The dining experience isn’t necessarily exciting, though. The seating plan doesn’t offer any privacy from other customers. Background music could help improve their lack of atmosphere.Bottom line: give it a try. If Indian is new to you I recommend checking out the lunch buffet first to try the variety of foods offered. Their dishes are not overly spicy but do carry a ton of flavor. After writing this review I feel like going tomorrow!
