First time eating here and I loved the guacamole very fresh and chunky. I had the chicken Ahogado it came out on a sizzling grill plate topped with guacamole and a little diced tomato. I like that they diced up the chicken and just the right amount of rice and beans. I’m very picky about my salsa but I did enjoy theirs it was just hard to get past the guacamole. I will definitely eat there again.
Great and Fast. One of those little-known gems in Cedar Rapids. Nice and fresh, and very reasonably priced for the quality.

Small authentic Mexican eatery with good food and great selection. If you want American Mexican you’ll probably prefer Carlos O’kelly’s. The spicy diced pork tortas are my favorite!
By far the best Mexican food in Cedar Rapids, fast and reasonably priced.. The burritos are spectacular and huge for the price… The staff is always very friendly and willing to make any item on their menu just the way u like it… The best beans and rice ever..! Their super nachos are absolutely fantastic! I’m from southern California and grew up in a large Mexican family… , and this place makes me feel like I’m at home.. Absolutely fantastic!
I had to send my burrito back twice to get it right. In their defense I’m particular about what I want on it. Sadly though i only didn’t want lettuce. Nothing really stood out about this place. It feels like I could make something similar at home. I do however think they have some really good authentic stuff on the menu but I probably won’t have the burrito again. I’ll give them one more shot but that’s about it.
Just like being in San Diego. We are transplants, and it was hard to find an authentic Mexican place here, but we’ve finally found one! Great burritos and the prices are good too. The service is always friendly and I’ve never seen the place looking bad or dirty.
