Great memories and the best taco pizza. I am originally from the Quad Cities and have grown up loving Happy Joe’s pizza. It is in my opinion, it’s the best pizza in the midwest. I have family scattered all over the country now, but when they come back to visit we order a Happy Joe’s taco pizza. It reminds us of all the birthday parties and family gatherings we’ve had over the years. It’s true you can get cheaper pizza other places, but you get what you pay for. For my money, I would take a Happy Joe’s taco pizza over any other hands down.

Employees Ignor Customers and Eat in the Kitchen. Pizza is pretty good, a little too expensive for what it is…and best if you order early in the week when they have discounted pricing.Went to pick up my carry out pizza last night and when I arrived I paid and then was told it would be five more minutes until my pizza was ready….so I waited…and waited …and waited … 15 minutes later I went to counter to ask, but no employees were there… I went to other counter, and no one there either.I leaned over the counter to see if I could get anyone’s attention and in the back of the kitchen were the employees chatting it up an eating frozen yogurt all while no one was watching the counterFinally a young girl notices me and takes me back to the pick up counter…and low and behold, my pizza was sitting in the warmer the whole time. Arrggg….if I didn’t have people expecting pizza at home I would have asked for my money back. Not sure what happened to the manager while the teenage employees were eating in the back of the kitchen, but ignoring customers and being lazy about serving is not good in any restaurant.,

Steven haskins. The pizza is ok, but the service sucks. During the day the two ethnic ladies fake being nice, seem to be always talking on their phones with the speaker on, or talking inappropriately about stuff in their own personal lives, the night servers walk around like brainless zombies waiting for someone to tell them what to do. food 90% during the day about 45% at night, service during the day 50% at night 15% this resturaunt in my opinion needs to step it up or step out.

Not Zoey’s…but not supposed to be :). Their pizza may not be the gourmet date night experience of Zoey’s but it is not supposed to be. Happy Joe’s has it own niche…the taco pizza (yes I know Zoey’s has an excellent one as well but this came first). Their taco pizza brings back wonderful childhood memeories. I usually order half taco supreme and half of their other specialty, the Canadian Bacon and Sauerkraut. I used to love eating it at the restaurant when they were in the basement of Lindale Mall (wish they were still there). Now days I prefer to take it home. Happy Joe’s is a great place for a childs birthday party.
