Good Local Spot. If you’re looking for a local restaurant with a variety menu, this is the place. It’s good but not outstanding. It’s comfortable with decent service as long as you don’t go during busy hours. The food is a good value for the money.
Cheese wontons that is all I have to say
One of my favorite places in CR. So, it’s a pub. If you like good, greasy, hearty food, with you beer, go here. The food and service are what they should be. If good service to you means your server is smiley and condescending like a kindergarten teacher, first grow up, and then go here.
Worth a trip. Great ambiance, good food. I especially like their Auzzie Burger.
Cheese Wontons!!!. I have been to the ID a few times, and I can’t resist their cheese wontons, not only are they filled with cheesy goodness, but they come with honey mustard that is so different from any other honey mustard I have ever had. It is so thick and delicious. I have not been super impressed with their sandwiches, but their ribs are amazing. They aren’t huge but the meat falls off the bone, and has a wonderful BBQ flavor. The atmosphere is nice too, but like many others some times the wait is just annoying, they have no system set up and it always seems very unorganized when they become busy.
Absolutely love irish democrat! I usually pick something different off the menu every time and I have yet to be anything other than extremely satisfied with everything! The onion rings are awesome and inexpensive for how much you get. Only fault is that often times it is so busy the wait for a table can be annoying, but that’s usually because I want to eat there so bad all patience is out the door. Yummy place! Getting hungry just thinking about it!
