On the downhill slide. I live very close to Jerseys and have since they first opened. This place has gone way down hill. Over the last few years. Where do I start? How about with the black mold that has been growing in the women’s bathroom for sometime now that they finally painted over and covered with hard plastic? I have a feeling nothing was even done to actually kill the mold. Or what about the bathroom door that has been missing a lock since 2012? Or the increase in prices with the decrease in service? I was there several weeks ago with 2 friends and we had a couple of beers and wings. We waited so long for our bills that finally I went inside to track down our server. 8 of us came in the other day after the Run or Dye 5k and it was terrible. The waitress even made a comment about them being understaffed. Well, maybe check out what’s going on in the community before you schedule 2 people on a Saturday afternoon. 3 people ordered large nachos and got the small instead. The waitress was very apologetic and offered to give them another small one. It took almost 40 minutes before they got it. How hard is it to toss chips on a platter, cover with cheese, and melt? Another person ordered the appetizer sampler thing that came out unrecognizable. Even the manager when approached asked my friend what it was supposed to be because he couldn’t tell. She got a new one but that’s not even the point. Our poor waitress, bless her heart, did the best she could to keep up. This is not the first time I’ve been there when they’ve had too few servers. Honestly, I was so excited when Jerseys first opened because we finally had a restaurant in the neighborhood. Now, I rarely ever go there and try to avoid it. Dont get me wrong. Sometimes the service is pretty good but its really rare. It truly seems as if the owners/management just don’t even care anymore. Is it any wonder this place is dead at 9:30 on a Friday night? Sorry guys. Try again.

Not sure I’ll be back, but the burger was good…my first visit of the day. Went of all places…here…to watch an Ohio State game. Although the Iowa bartender looked at us strangely at first, he turned the game on with a smile. Wasn’t sure I wanted to stay because no one was there at noon, but when we were told that the meat was fresh, never frozen, we stayed. I am glad we did. As per the bartenders suggestion, we got a Reuben ($7.99) and a Bleu Cheese Burger ($8.99). We were told the Reuben was amazing because the meat was sliced in house. If it was, I could not tell. I was not a fan. The french fries were awful. Not the potatoes fault though. The frying grease needs changed. Drinks were in need of help also; the margarita mix was so sour I had to chase it with my sister’s beer. But, the light at the end of the tunnel was the burger. Although my sister had ordered it med well (yuck), it came a wonderful medium and I was so happy. The meat for the burger was excellent. I’m not kidding. Salty and good. Interestingly though….I came back at the end of the night in need of the same goodness and ordered the same burger at the same temperature. This one came well done and was awful.

Broasted chicken meal is super delicious!! Also had the nachos and they were okay. A fun place to drink and watch a football or baseball game. One thing I would say is that the ranch is not good, but other than that, I would tell someone to get the chicken! We got the onion rings and payed the extra 20% for all white meat… Def worth it! Inexpensive meal to Order for pick up and enjoy at home or going in. Pretty good drink specials too!
