I’m not a beer drinker, but for some reason I REALLY like their beers. Workman’s Compensation and The Disaster at Meux are my 2 favorites. Maybe its because of the chocolate/coffee notes in the beer, who know, but I can see why these beers have won awards. As for their menu, I like that they change it up every so often. I’ve tried several different sandwiches and they’ve been very good and flavorful. The people that work there are friendly and do a good job with service; never had problems. I hope you get a chance to stop by and try this place. If not to eat, at least try a beer or 2.
My wife and I went there tonight for dinner. The menu is geared towards the type of outing where you drink and eat appetizers. They have a decent list of appetizers and just a few entrees. Beers were good. We had a nice sample flight. Service was good. If you want to go out and sample beers with appetizers, this is a good place.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in town. The beer is great, brewed on the premises, especially the brandy barrel aged stuff! The food is delicious and creative, especially the nachos. A great little gem!
