Easily the best burger in town love the super cheesburger…staff can b hit or miss as far as friendly and checkin up on ya and not fancy by any means but food makes up for it all as far as im concerned.
Good Burger. The starlight is about the closest to a wonderful greasy home made burger there is in Cedar Rapids. The staff is friendly and kept a proper eye on us. The prices are great and it’s nice sitting on the deck outside without having to go into the bar atmosphere with kids.
Ummm… Not really very good. Had the fried tenderloin… Tasted pretty much like a generic fried piece of meat on a bun from the grocery store. Nice folks working there but food isn’t great… But it is inexpensive

Good local spot. This place has improved with the smoking ban and the addition of better outdoor seating. The tenderloin is maybe the best in town. It is a basic burger/loin and fries place but does it well. It can be slow at lunch so go early or call in the order about 15 minutes ahead.
Pairs well with fine ’09 Chatau du Budwiser. If you are a fan of the greasy spoon/bar burger this is the best place in town to get it. A word of warning though, ask for your burger without the seasoned salt; in the bar tradition it is applied quite liberally. Other than that if you want a delicious heart-blocking treat swing by Starlite.
If you can squeeze in one more thing to do before you die… Eat Here!. Best Burger in CR hands down. Does it beat the Gunder Burger or the 2 mit burger? I’m not sure. My GF lives in Denver, CO and there is one thing she misses and craves from CR and that is a super cheeseburger from the Starlite Room. Beware the starlite is pretty much a dive, and their new floors a very, very ugly but the atmosphere is still fun. Have a burger, shoot some pool, watch the game. In the summer step outside and there is desert waiting for you in the form of a Dairy Queen in the Starlite parking lot.
