Best Indian food I’ve had. Saffron in Greenville, SC has officially been dethroned. Magnificent food selection. Great taste and quick service . Great naan.
Great food!. I’ve been here twice now. The lunch buffet was great and dinner was wonderful. Price is good.
Service was fast and friendly. Our waitress’s recommendations were spot on! Very reasonable prices. Appetizer, lamb entree, chicken entree, basket of assorted naan, 2 nonalcoholic drinks and 1 dessert only $36! Plus free refills on rice and we had enough left over to take home for lunch the next day.
Good food and price. I have eaten at Taste of India for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is somewhat basic but nice enough. The food quality and taste is excellent. The lunch choices are well priced and came out fast. I recommend it.
Horrible and bad place. They don’t make their buffet fresh anymore. I know of a customer who came there to eat very regularly. He had raised his objection about the poor quality of the food which was microwaved and served. One day, when he came and complained to the owner, the owner cursed him in his native language, kicked him and the two owner’s employees held him and put their hands on the mouth. Then the owner proceeded to call 911 and lied to the police. When the police came, they didn’t do anything and unfortunately, no charges were pressed by the aggrieved customer. This place has a history of people paying them for bad food. You can read reviews elsewhere to verify that. I will never go to this place again.
Absolutely WONDERFUL!. I have always been a fan of Indian Cuisine – I started eating at Taste of India when it was on Boyson Road – Their Chicken Curry is fantastic. I religiously ate there – almost weekly. Followed them to their current location – yes, the prices increased slightly, but haven’t the prices of almost everything? Still extremely worth it! Naan is always fresh, and all of their entrees are superb. I moved several hours away from Cedar Rapids last year to a large city – out of all of the Indian restaurants I’ve eaten there, I still prefer Taste of India and eat there each time I’m back in town.
LOVE – LOVE – LOVE IT. I love their food so much I crave it! Their Mutta Paneer is to die for and their lamb is luscious. You can choose how spicy you would like it. Their bread is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with wonderful flavor. The chai tea is yummy! Yes, it’s a little pricy but I can’t get enough. I keep going back again and again. I do miss the buffet from the old restaurant though! I liked trying different things there.
