Prices were good. Service was good. Pizza was good. Only complaint is that the topping were a little sparse. Would love to have seen our mombo combo loaded more with both meats and veggies.
Under new ownership (Marion). Pizza was okay but not what I was used to. Didn’t mind paying the higher prices before because the people working there did an excellent job. Now there are twice as many people working and the pizza don’t taste near as good. I won’t go back for that kind of money. Very disappointed because it use to be my favorite place now I will have to start the search for a new pizza resturant.
Best pizza?. We were looking for somewhere new to try while we were in CR. I read tons of great reviews about Tomaso’s and all of the awards they have won. $30 dollars for A pizza that barely fed us (2 adults & a 5yr old) was ridiculous as it was nothing of amazing. We ordered the Detroit and I felt like I paid a whole lot for extra crispy bread with a dash of cheese and sauce. The sauce was actually good but there was hardly any of it. It’s also a very tiny place so there were people standing out of the door to order. For as expensive as their not-so-gourmet pizza is, you don’t even get table service. Prepare to eat off of Styrofoam plates and plastic cups.
BEST PIZZA IN IOWA!. The Detroit pizza at Tomaso’s is hands down the best pizza in Iowa. I am born and raised here and I have tried them all. This pizza never disappoints!
Best Pizza Around. I have had both the thin crust and the Detroit many times, both are great. The meats they use are really good. My favorite pizza!
Works for me. The Detroit is the way to go for deep dish, NY for thin.
Best Pizza in town! Beats the pepperoni off Zoey’s! I’m from Detroit and the only thing that could be improved upon is to make the Detroit style square.
