  I went here with an open mind. In town for business and looking for a steak. The salad was excellent but the honey mustard dressing has a LOT of horseradish in it. The fries were some of the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, the steak was over cooked and very tough. Probably I cheap cut of meat even though it was advertised as top grade. The white chocolate cheese cake was covered in dark chocolate which I hate. Sorry but a little disappointing for a $40 meal. Won’t go back when I am in town next!

  Please save yourself the time and DONOT GO!! The salmon was disgusting!! It was dry, tasteless, sauce was horrible!! Stay away from here!!

  I am from out of town and came here as a suggestion, parking was not easy, the place is not clearly marked, and service was adequate. Would not make a point of coming back here the next time I am here for work.

  Terrible Service. My spouse and I had dinner there last night as part of a party of 9. The food was average, though nothing outstanding. The service, on the other hand, was dreadful. We were there for 3 1/2 hours due to the extraordinarily long wait times for placing orders and getting our bills. Each bill was incorrect, and it took the staff 45 minutes to fix this error, even knowing we were in a hurry to leave. My biggest complaint about this was that nobody came to the table to apologize or to timely let us know the reason for the delay. There were no offers to comp anything, though we had expressed our frustration. It is highly unlikely anyone from our party will visit there again, which is too bad as we are all local and looking for great restaurants to frequent.

  As much as I would like to see downtown Cedar Rapids be revived, I really didn’t like this restaurant all that much. The service was okay; we had to wait a bit before we saw our server the first time, and a while for the appetizer, but the server also helped make up for it by taking the cost of our soups off our bill. To me, food is more important than service, and at first, I thought the food would be good. The menu looked appealing and the prices were good. We ordered the cheeseburger ale soup, which was okay but the creamy base resembled canned soup. We also ordered the Wisconsin wontons, which looked delicious and plentiful. We were hungry so we ate several, but eventually regretted it. They were too rich and the spiciness didnt add to the dish. My husband and I didn’t finish the wontons, which is an extremely rare event for us. The first entree I tried to order (a prime rib sandwich) was no longer available, so I ordered the flank steak with the daily vegetable (green beans with mushrooms and red peppers). The vegetables were the best part of my meal; my steak was slightly undercooked and too salty. My husband ordered the crispy chicken, which I tasted and found a little tasteless, and the cheesy potatoes, which were pretty good. I might consider going back and giving it one more chance, but I’m not optimistic.

  Loved it. This place was crazy busy with RAGBRAI and the Counting Crows concert the night we visited. Despite that, the service was friendly, prompt, and accurate. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The selection of craft beers on tap is extensive. We will definitely stop here again on future visits to Cedar Rapids.
