Poor Service. Went and ordered the same thing I always ordered each time I visited there, and the waitress proceeded to argue with me, saying they didn’t offer that, and that nobody else would have served it to me. She was very argumentative and insinuated that I would actually lie about what I wanted, to save, what, 75 cents?? I left and will NOT eat there again.
Great Little Cafe. Love the new location and hometown feel that Willy Woodburns has when you walk in the door. The eggs benidict is my favorite, and certianly didn’t let me down. They don’t skimp on portion size..even though I should! The new location is easy to find, and the inside gives you the feeling that your at you home…just someone else made you breakfast!
Great place. Good stick to the ribs fare. My husband and I breakfast there every Sunday.
Wonderful breakfast food! You won’t go away hungry, and your taste buds will be happy too!
A good workingman’s meal. I like Willy Woodburn’s Restaurant. He was flooded out in June and is now back in business. His new address is 232 16th Ave SW. The new digs are much nicer then the old location. It’s clean and doesn’t have years of cigarette smoke built into the walls.Willy Woodburn’s isn’t what you’d call high cuisine. It’s a typical caf. The food is cheap and good. It’s not great but for the price it can’t be beat. The coffee is also good and cheap. Nothing special, just a workingman’s meal. It’s the only restaurant in Cedar Rapids my dad feels comfortable eating at (my dad dresses like a hobo). My favorite menu items are the hot roast beef and the French dip. Once again, they’re cheap but good.If you haven’t already stopped by the new location you need to give it a shot. You won’t leave hungry or broke.
