Atmosphere was great! Really beautiful brick walls. The food was good. I had pistachio crusted Tilapia and tried my friends Chicken Spedini. The Tilapia had great flavor and was served with veggies and a rice pilaf. Highly recommend this dish. The chicken was very different. It was a lot sweeter than I am use to, but still had good flavor. Served with roasted garlic Parmesan potatoes! The only problem I had was that our waitress didn’t visit often enough. Luckily we weren’t there for just cocktails, we were seated for 10 minutes before our server appeared to tell us she would be right with us. Altogether great place to eat, and I think we caught them on a busy night.

Zeppelins Pizzeria. I had been wanting to try Zeppelins pizza for quite some time so I finally ordered some tonight to share with friends. Big mistake. I arrived only 20 mins after ordering and my pizzas were both sitting out in the open (not being kept warm) so I was already skeptical. By the time I got home, 5 mins later, and opened the boxes, they were cold. Also, I had ordered a medium and a large, but they were the same size. How does that work? The taco pizza was totally lacking in flavor (worst taco pizza ever) and the cheese/pepperoni pizza was like cardboard. I was completely disappointed. I’ve had Tombstone pizzas which were much better than this. My advice, don’t let the pizza sit out on an open rack, which only allows it to completely cool by the time it’s boxed. Yuck. Won’t order again, nor will I recommend. I felt the need to apologize to my friends for serving such blah, and cold, pizza.
Disappointing steak. I ordered the filet mignon based upon recommendation from the waiter. Ordered it medium rare. It completely lacked seasoning so had to salt and pepper it myself and half of the steak was so dry it was near inedible. The other half was closer to medium rare and somewhat less dry. I’ve been here once before and had the reubeun sandwich which was phenominal but on this occasion my experience was quite disappointing. I would not order steak from here again. Seasoning and cooking a steak is like culinary school 101. Would expect better quality from the chef for the prices they are charging.
I went with my family and cousins tonight without a reservation and for a group of 6 we were seated pretty promptly. The waiter was friendly, the food was very tasty. It was difficult for my daughter who is a vegetarian to find something she wanted to eat and she was pretty grumpy about her choices. She could have picked a salad or appetizer but as a 15 year old who was very hungry the options were not very good for her and she’s tired of always having to order a salad or the Mac n cheese off the kids menu when we go out. She did chose the ravioli which she said was ok. I won’t go back with the family as it didn’t have many options for a range of personal tastes, but as a date nite for my husband and I, yes, we will return.
Review. I have had the pleasure of dining @ Zeppelins several times now. Each time has been fantastic!Everything from the decor, presentation of food, how the wait staff presents itself, to even the restrooms is above average. The food itself is wonderful. I always get the Mediterranean Chicken Salad. Very Nice all the way around!If your looking to take your date to an upscale but relaxed restaurant, take her here!
