Worst Service Out There. I would say that this was the worst place I have been in along time. The sushi took 35 minutes to get. Fine ill deal with it and move on maybe the service and food will make up for it. Well this was far from what happend. Are water was filled once ever 45 minutes. The waitress didn’t talk to us at all anytime we asked for anything it was like a drive threw drop it off and leave. Fine maybe she wasn’t having a great day I understand more then you guys know. Next a hour and a half later our food finally comes …… Cold. Well we sit there waiting for the waitress to come again 10 minutes later nothing. So I get up grab another waitress to tell her. She grabs our waitress she says she will make us some new food that’s hot. Fine will get fresh warm food. 10 minutes later we get are food back right the same plates heated up in a microwave she drops it off then disappears, doesn’t ask if we need anything just leaves. By this time I couldn’t take it anymore my girlfriend and her family needed some. More sauce asked 2 times waited 10 mintues. I got up asked to talk to a manager. The waitress came back asked what I needed with an attitude. I said obviously your manager. He came out spoke to Him asked what was wrong explained to him the situation. He asked what he could do looked very nervous and couldn’t speak clearly. I said I’ve had the worst time time ever my family came for good food and service. We didn’t get ether of them, he said he would take care of it. Came back with my bill minus 2 entrees. Great you have horrible service cold food and wasted 2 hours of my life ill never return, also ill go out of my way to tell everyone and write reviews so maybe somebody else won’t get horrible service.
Love Love Love. Definitely one of the best places you can find in the Iowa City/Coralville area! I go to this place at least once a week feels like. I would recommend this restaurant to whoever hasn’t been there… And if you’re in town while traveling, make time to stop by! The sushi is great, spicy mayo wings are also another favorite of mine, and their bento boxes during lunch are delicious! Their service can be a little slow at times, but its all worth the wait, I promise!
Loved it!! Better Sushi than we have in Cedar Rapids! I didn’t think their Nigri sushi was as good as expected..but the rolls are awesome! They have different varieties and awesome service!!
P Good. I have eaten at 3 Samurai a few times, and their food is pretty good. Yesterday, my family and I dined there for my graduation meal. Contrary to the previous reviews of poor service, our server provided excellent service to our table of 14 people from start to finish by ensuring our drinks were filled and plates were promptly cleared. In addition, I am grateful to see a portion of their menu dedicated to vietnamese entrees, because good vietnamese food is rare to find in Iowa w/ the exception of the Des Moines area. My father and uncle ordered the traditional beef pho and enjoyed it. The portions were decent, and it was beautifully plated. Honestly, I was surprised! Overall, the food at 3 Samurai tastes pretty good, and it is offered at a slightly higher price. I would encourage others to dine there for lunch!

Pretty decent fare. I ate there with my son on a busy Fri night.Service was not great, but the food was good except for the cream cheese with sushi. totally unauthentic and this disappointed me. the entertainment with the hibachi chefs was great. i liked the ease of seating and the variety of food selection. from when i ordered at 7pm unitl the food arrived at 7.45pm seemed long but we brought books to read and keep our grumbling stomachs from overwhelming us. MANGIA!
