Waste of $11.99. Food was bland and tasteless, and for such a large place, the choices were limited. Really weird tasting spices used in the broccoli beef. The honey chicken tasted like mushy cardboard. Not Chinese food…more like Americanized Chinese with little to no taste. Restroom was disgusting. Restaurant is not clean. Save your money and your tastebuds. I could have eaten at Panda Express twice for this price.
We went in and the food was awful. Most of the buffet was dirty empty pans . The service wasn’t just bad, they were also very rude. We won’t be back.
Go when it’s busy!!. The China Buffet in Council Bluffs has really suffered from it’s bad rep lately. The food used to be really sketchy and the atmosphere even worse. I would recommend it to anyone but go when it is busy. The fact still remains, it’s a buffet and they tend to get a little lacidazical when it comes to turning food on the off time. But if you go when it’s busy it’s totally worth the price!! Plus they always have my favorite: Broccoli and Chicken!!
Good food, great price. The buffet is always fresh, well stocked and clean. Through December they are running special pricing for lunch and dinner to celebrate an anniversary of their establishment; this makes this buffet a super budget friendly stop for tasty China vittles. They have standard China cuisine, salad bar, and desserts. They also have a Mongolian type grill where you can choose your own raw meats and veggies for the chef to prepare. It’s a nice little restaurant. 4 out of 5 on my Grit scale
