One of the best breakfast places around. I had the kitchen sink omelet with hash browns and a pancake instead of toast. the pancake was very good with a flavor that I could not identify, but liked very much. The kitchen sink omelet was absolutely huge. I was by far the biggest omelet that I have ever had. It was loaded with ham, bacon, sausage and many veggies too. This is not your light fluffy omelet. It was very flavorful and filling.I got the full order of hash browns. They come in full, half and quarter size. I should have got the half size. The outside was done to aperfectcrisp, but the inside was slightly oily. All in all,they were very good. As I was leaving a waitress walked by delivering a very large cinnamon roll to some lucky customer. I will have to come back and try one myself. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so get there early.
Like Home Cozy. My hubby and I happened upon this gem of a cafe when we moved to Council Bluffs a little over a year ago. the service is friendly and extremely accommodating. The atmosphere is like having a meal with a huge family…and the food, especially breakfast, is like mom made it. Highly recommend you stop by. 🙂
