Good food. I think this place used to be a mens bathroom and then they converted it into a restaurant. Its currently my favorite Mexican place though. I usually get the fajitas.
Fajitas. The fajita plate is a lot of food and well worth it. The Tacos Yucatan are also good.
Slightly Authentic/Very Tasty. This place is a bit hole in the wall, but don’t let that, or the weird Mexican TV channel they watch which seems to be 1/2 music videos with scantily clad women and half commercials, stop you from enjoying your dining experience. The food here is well prepared and most menu items have a choice of Mexican Style or American Style so you can get a (slightly more) authentic flavor or just go tex mex if that’s what you into. The service is a little disorganized, but the people are friendly and the prices are reasonable. I recommended this place if you are in Council Bluffs and craving some semi-authentic Mexican food.
Food isn’t bad. Don’t have a lot of stuff from the menu. No even lemon for the ice tea.
Mexican at the CB Courthouse. Fantastic! The prices are very reasonable, service is fast & friendly, and the food was great! Very interesting salsa for the chips, and was served with a salsa verde and roja with the meal. I found my carnitas taco to be very evocative of pulled pork bbq (NC style); I was completely blown away! The asada is good, as well. We will be back!
I got the california burrito and it is BANGIN’!!! I consider myself a burrito ‘connoseuir’ so to speak, and I was pleasantly pleased after deciding to leave the interstate and see what council bluffs has to offer. I am so glad I did.
Excellent. The only thing missing is a hot, mean, green chili. It would rate a 10 with that. Instead, I give it a 9.9. Very good food and friendly staff. I like being recognized when I enter a restaurant, and they do remember me. They have American- or Mexican-style tacos and guacamole. I opt for the Mexican style. Try it, you’ll like it!!
