This has a great selection of beer on draft with a casual atmosphere. Ideal for drinks and appetizers.
The best boneless wings in town. We always get the Two Pints And Two Pounds for $20. Yum! The pizza burger is delish. Crinkle cut fries…Even our kids like coming here. Only downside is finding a table. Go early.
The food was amazing. We got the little smokies wrapped in bacon and I ordered the Chicken Bacon and Cheese sandwich. It was some of the best food I have eaten in Des Moines. One of the burgers I ate was delicious and very reasonably priced.But…The service was horrible. We were there for at least two hours and most of the time we were waiting on our waitress. We had to tell our waitress that we were ready to order and did the same thing when we were ready for our check. We had to wait 20 minutes for our appetizers, and for 6 little smokies wrapped in bacon it was almost $7! Ridiculous! And they were all bite size little smokies, you could buy a whole package of smokies for that price. Our waitress was extremely rude to one of my friends and she did come and check on us ever. She never refilled any of our glasses or even asked if we wanted them refilled. And she also screwed up my friend’s order. Also our table was sticky and gross. I don’t think I will come back there ever again if the service gets this bad again.Overall I would give this a two of of five stars.
Mixed review. To start off I love, love, love the beer selection. However what is going on with the recent radio selection? Classic rock? Non-stop Pearl jam? Non-stop singles of Dave Matthews? It’s not fun listening to music from the same artist all night long. Also I received some of the worst service from a The male server named Chris. Glad the bearded bartender was there to make the right suggestions for me.
Enchilada Dishes. I had the enchiladas and they were great. The rice, however, tasted (and looked) like it had been made a week ago. Dry and hard.
Incompetent staff and slow to deliver orders.
