I haven’t been here in nearly 20 years. The fact that it’s still around must mean something. We started with some garlic cheese bread and ordered a Chicago style pepperoni pizza. I will say that it wasn’t as clean as I’d like, definitely needed a good scrub down. Even my menu was dirty and sticky. That being said, our server took great care of us and even tried to do some quick housekeeping as she noticed some of the same things we did.all was forgiven once our pizza arrived. A nice and hearty deep dish to the rescue. If you are looking for Chicago style this one does the trick, but I would recommend Wig and Pen over F&O’s anyday. Not a horrible visit, but it could have been better.
Final farewell!. In the late 70’s and early 80’s we used to get GREAT pizza at the original F & O’s down by Drake. We have stopped by maybe every 3 years because we miss the old favorite pie. With each visit the quality has slowly gone downhill. Stopped by last night with grandchildren and we will never be back. Service was terrible with confused waitresses. Pizza was bland and beer was flat.
