This was my first time visiting Fongs Pizza at the recommendation of my hotel desk clerk. It was all that was described and more. The food was great, my server, Brooklyn, was helpful suggesting the top sellers and her personal fave. She was attentive and kind. The atmosphere is what put it over the top for me. I was dining alone (work trip) and did not feel out of place. There was a fun, funky, eccentric vibe that was warm and comfortable. I will definitely go back.
Fongs was so unique and a must eat restaurant while you’re in Des Moines. We loved the crab rangoon pizza and cheese sticks. The side salad was below excellent and it was a little dirty but the food was great.
