Not just nostalgia. I grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Iowa more than 5 years ago. While there is a lot of great food here, there are certain foods you get used to when you live in PA or NJ for most of your life. I was so happy to find this place and would definitely recommend it!

Best Pizza hands down if you like NY/NJ style Pizza. We are very happy to have found this place. Wish they would open a larger place with real silver wear and plates and also serve beer and wine. 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
East Coast Pizza At Its Best. Having spent several years in NJ and PA, I had my share of East Coast pizza and this place nails it. I would like to know how many of the people that have bashed this place actually have had pizza from an East Coast pizza restaurant. These guys aren’t going for anything but a true East Coast style pizza you would get on the Jersey shore. Also, and most importantly, their Philly cheesesteaks are LEGIT! I have searched for a REAL cheesesteak in Des Moines and have not found one until these guys opened their restaurant. Forget the Pepperjacks Grill claim of having the best cheesesteak, which is a joke, Jersey Guys’ version is the real deal! Lastly, the staff is always friendly and you always feel like you are stepping in to a family oriented restaurant.
Don’t waste your $$$. My family lives in Beaverdale and we’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time, especially since they were at the top of Cityview’s Best. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. I opened the box to find my pizza swimming in grease. Whomever doesn’t blot the grease off their pizza will have a coronary. Once my paper towel was soaked with grease, I took a bite. Cheese on a piece of cardboard would have tasted similar. It was just bland. There was very little sauce and minimal cheese. I was starving but this pizza was just not worth the calories. Save your money and buy a frozen Pasquale’s pizza. Not sure how this company stays in business if they can’t get the basics right.
This Is Good. I am Italian-American, born and raised 2.5 hours from NYC. This pizza is GOOD. It is the real thing!
Love this pizza! Not a cracker crust, just a perfect, fold over with a great sauce and toppings! And not greasy. Our relatives from Chicago love it!
