Amazing Deli. I think for sandwiches, this place is hard to beat. Simple food that somehow tastes better coming from here than anything else. Love their fried peppers, wish I could make those myself. Soups that I have tried are good. Their dessert bars are great.

Best Deli Sandwich in Des Moines. Fresh ingredients, a wide variety of sandwiches, not to mention friendly service has patrons coming back again and again. I have tried a variety of sandwiches since discovering this gem, such original creations like the Zach Johnson, Mama Mia, Vito, and my personal favorite the Friday special. Every day has a different special and all are delicious yet none have beaten the Friday Special. You are able to choose many different options and even create your own sandwich if the mood compels you. I prefer adding mixed mild/hot peppers to any sandwich. The fried peppers juices really add to the flavor of the sandwich. Pictures with Zach Johnson and his autograph as well as other Drake poster on the walls adds to the experience. The prices aren’t cheap but yet still reasonable for such a fresh and delectable sandwich, with just under $8 for a sandwich side and drink. I give this restaurant 5 out of 5.
