It’s great for home style food and that small town dinner feel. Friendly staff that will make you feel at home. Big portions good coffee. Love the bases loaded.
Good food, but overpriced.. I went there with my family for breakfast. The food was good. Typical diner food/ breakfast items. The pancakes were really good. Expect to spend about $1-$2 more per item, then at other diners.
Pancakes !!. This is my second review on Home Plate Diner on N.E. 14thMy girlfriend ordered a pancake, when it came it was the size of a plate that you would put a cup of tea on, one pancake cost over 2.00 I think anyone that orders one should get their money’s worth, the thing is they don’t care, there are 2 owners of the home plate diner and the owners are seldom there, and Ken one of the owners does not care what the customers think, they have been out of punch cards for weeks and it is up to Ken to see the home plate diner receives them but he does not care….07 Oct, 2012Good food !!.
