Don’t let the Snotty foodies deter you….If you’re looking for a meal like you’d get at mom n grandma’s, where you. Get what you pay for, The Home plate is it…If ANYTHING isn’t right, SAY SO… They n will MAKE SURE it’s RIGHT!!! The place has been on the East side forever, and it’s not a fancy place… You will constantly find working class people here… But if you don’t mind outdated decor, the then it’s a good place to eat… You definitely get your money’s worth, and your coffee cup Is constantly being refilled…I enjoy the. Breakfast menu, just wish they’d change it upoccasionally, but you never leave hungry… Highly recommend the breakfast n lunch specials, and for lunch n. Try the tenderloin, the catfish, and the meatloaf….These folks are really nice, and work around my food allergies if you tell them…The waitresses are like your mom. And sister and make sure your week. Feed and happy…If you want a trendy spot….keep driving… But if you want to have a good meal at a good price, and don’t mind eating next to. The people who built this city, I’ll see you there!!Is
Excustomer. Waited to be seated, took the order right away, 45 minutes later, still no food, told the waitress we were done waiting and left. The place was not that busy, 11:30 Sunday morning, 1/2 full. Bad experience, which is too bad, I did like the food, will find somewhere else now.
Horrible! I tried this place because of their commercials saying their food was homemade. Well it’s not! I order the hot beef sandwich. Ask the waitress are the potatoes homemade… No instant, is the roast beef homemade no, is the gravy homemade no.. But it’s really good she said. It was worse then something you would get in grade school canned gelatiniess gravy fake potatoes and microwaved meat
