When we arrived we were excited to try the food. It was a bar atmosphere which is fine. While waiting for food other patrons were being really loud for quite a while. Screaming and hollering. We asked nicely for them to quiet down a little as we were getting headaches. They were nothing but rude and staff did nothing to help. If anything after we said something staff became rude to us siding with their regulars. Food was very greasy mediocre to average at best. Not a family friendly atmosphere and horrible service. They care more about regulars than wanting to get new customers.

Worth dropping by. We stopped in for lunch on our way to Cedar Rapids from KC. Had the grinder and fries…. VERY good. We would definitely eat there again. The sandwiches were huge and delicious, and the prices quite reasonable. Average bar atmosphere; nothing fancy. Everyone friendly.
AMAZING!. Kelly’s is the ONLY place we will go for a hot sausage sandwhich, and we drive all the way from Pella to get it….THE DRIVE IS SO WORTH IT! The drinks are stiff and the service is very personal from the owner to the cook to the waitress they all treat you like you are part of their family. we finally tried the tenderlion this last time….on top of our hotsausage sand…..thier 1 tenderlion would have been enough to FILL all three of us up! this place def. deserves to be noticed!
