Don’t love the ‘half-service’ system where you pay and are then seated, food brought, but still need to pick up cutlery etc.That said, food and service are both great – the line moves quickly, food arrives hot within 10 minutes of being seated and everythingfresh. After living in Seattle and a bout as an expat, this is a gem in Des Moines. On our first visit we ordered a quiche, omelette, sandwich as well as coffees and a raisin roll. Egg whites with spinach dish was on the oilier side, but everything else was fantastic.
