Atmosphere is unique and appropriate for their place. I only recommend this place for their exceptional coffee. I had to wait over an hour for their bacon quesadilla. Granted they apologized with gift cards for free coffee but I wish they had forewarned me before placing my order.I do plan on returning for their amazing coffee. I also bought some of their whole coffee beans too for home.
Perfect place to get my hw done. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was delicious, and check this out- the coffee was actually good (good thing for a coffee shop but surprisingly rare). I true the Sputnik and will b ordering it again.
This is supposed to be red velvet cake. There’s no such thing as red valet cake.
Nice atmosphere and good place to study. Coffee is ok. Ive been disappointed by both their iced coffee (bitter) and Toddy (watery). Glad it’s in Des Moines but not my first destination for coffee.
Fun Coffee Culture. Close to campus on University, this is a fun place to dip in for a coffee, chai, or tasty micro-brew. How can you NOT check out a cafe with a happy hour?
Mars Cafe is no Beggers Deli. Ok the Coffe is ok. But Beggers had better food.
Best coffee in Des Moines by far. Nice for a small lunch like their panin’s or chips and hummus. Support small busineses!
