Great little spot. Good food. They have sweet potato tater tots they are to die for. Fun atmosphere. Parking can be kinda difficult. Right on the bike trail. I love the Sanmburg if they still have it.
Dined in July…. Unfortunately, had a bad service experience… friend asked our server for water three seperate times, eventually had to get her own water from the bar. Then, did not see our server for a long time and after 45 minutes, got management involved. Manager and another server took our orders and and service was attentive after that.
Mullets filled my gullet right. Good food and good prices. The staff is great and friendly especially for a trendy Des Moines restaurant. They actually work together as a team. The food is fun and exciting. It has a good atmosphere all around.
August 2013. Went to Mullets – had great service from our waiter, had good food – however the chef came out drunk and acting stupid at the end of the night and now I am grossed out to think of what he was doing in the kitchen all night. If the chef Steve is working – I suggest you go elsewhere…unless you want a drunk 18 year old making your food…….
This place is great. We have been there twice for breakfast and each time was delicious. The waitress was fantastic. I think she makes a big difference in how much we enjoy eating here. Great food and great service equal a great experience.
Loved it!. You have got to get up and hit this place for breakfast. I’m telling you.. you will be hooked! Worth every dime you pay!
Definite Hit! Mouth watering Bacon Chorizo Hash with a side of sausage gravy. Don’t forget to add a memosa and a piece of maple bacon cheesecake. Delish!
