  Disaster in Des Moines. A few weeks ago, we were in Des Moines for a Volleyball tournament and the coach of my daughters volleyball team made reservations for the team. Obviously, the restaurant felt they could handle the part of 15 when the reservation was made. Unfortunately, that was furthest from the truth. When we arrived they said that they could seat us, but we would have to split up, so we were split amongst 3 tables and we overheard several serves complaining that they could not take on an additional 3 tables. They then decided to double team us, which sounded great, but we soon found out that also was a big mistake. One of the waitresses took our drink order and disappeared, and half hour later still without drinks, the other waitress ask if we received our drinks yet and we responded, no, and then waited another 30 minutes for our drinks and had to ask another time for them. We had a table of nine 15 year old girls that had played volleyball all day that literally waited 90 minutes before we received our food and the wait staff was totally oblivious to their incompetence. In all of the years of dining, I have never seen anything like this.On the positive side, the food was actually pretty good, even though the pizza came warm at best. I believe it was finished before the other food and it sits under warmers until the other food is ready. My suggestion, they need to review the wait staff and get rid of the dead wait and get some new waitresses that aren’t afraid of having a few more tables and working hard to meet the expectations of their customers.I rate Noah’s Ark a 4 of 5 for food and a 1 of 5 for service.Shane
