This place suffers somewhat from its exterior appearance. The building is relatively old but has been spruced up some on the inside. Their pupusas are the best I have had so far in central Iowa and are served with a huge bowl of the coleslaw-like side and two types of red sauce. They also serve traditional El Salvadoran dinners and breakfast. The seating area is pretty modest but there are two tvs that are often tuned to futbol.
