Great coffee, food, & atmosphere. This is one of Des Moines’ best places to get coffee. By far my favorite is their iced mayan mocha. They usually give free double shots on Monday. Their brownies, vegan chocolate chip cookies, paninis, and breakfast are all wonderful.
This place is nice. I had a muffin and it was delicious! Although it could have used a few more chocolate chips. And my lemonade didn’t taste too fresh but otherwise this place is cute and inviting. Definitely worth the trip!
Delicious Vegetarian. Didn’t even know this was downtown until I took a walk to the library the other day. Great artsy pagan atmosphere. Tried the spicy bean burrito and it was delicious, if a bit overpriced for the portion – still, with a homemade salsa that was very good. Definitely going back and would recommend it.
Foods good. Maybe a little pricey for what ya get but I would go back. The grilled peppers mozzerella sandwich was good. I also had a vegan granola bar… Awesome!
Hip throwback. So, it was a nice venue to kick back, laugh and relax, but it came across more as a coffee shop than restaurant. I had a cheesy panini and it was pretty good. I would go back, but it didn’t WOW me.
The only cafe I could find downtown Des Moines, while on an interview. Menu is basic but very tasty. Great atmosphere at 7:45am on a Monday. If I’m back in town, will definitely revisit.
