Pretty basic, pretty good. We thought about trying some BBQ tonight. After a little research I came up with Smokey Ds. From looking at their website it appears they have won a boatload of awards. I did expect a no frills kind of a place, and that was what we found. It was almost empty when we showed up around 5:30. Smokey Ds is an order at a counter they call your number when the food is ready kind of place. I went with their dinner platter and selected the Beef Brisket and Sausage, with beans and potato salad as sides. I found the beef to be ok but ended up using BBQ sauce to improve that item. The sausage was very good. The beans were also sweet and good, the potato salad had a sour taste that I didnt much care for. I like BBQ and I liked my platter tonight, although this was not award winning food.
