White table cloth, special occasion restaurant with terrific seafood. We enjoyed their mussels, beat salad, scallops and fettuccine with rock shrimp and filet tips. Nice touch, my vodka and grapefruit was made with fresh grapefruit juice!
Hands Down The Best Place in Des Moines!!!. My family and I have been going to Splash for years. Every birthday, anniversary, special occasion or date night Splash is our first choice. We have tried the other top seafood restaurants and even steakhouses in town and every time Splash blows them away with better service and food. From the oysters to crab legs, lobster to filet mignon, Splash does it the best in Des Moines. I have fallen in love with the cheese plates and charcuterie as well. Plus, the full menu is available after shows we go to at the Civic Center. That beats trying to fight for a spot at some place on Court Ave for crumby bar food. If you have not tried Splash, or it has been a while since you’ve eaten there, do yourself a favor and rediscover the best restaurant in town!
