Favorite Chinese Restaurant in Des Moines. Seriously the best take-out in this city. The vegetables are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The service is always fast and friendly. Never a bad meal!
Two dishes you will love. Their suculent general chicken and fan tail shrimp, spicy and savory! the rice works to soak up the sauce. and I can refrigerate it and throw in the microwave or on the stove and doesn’t taste rubbery like some I have tasted. Taste of China keep up the good work. The food gets there fast when it delivered and it is hot! Like Jim Zabel says I love it! I love it!
Have ordered fro Taste of China go years but after ordering tonight will not be eating there again. Ordered $24 worth of food and everything but the white rice and crab Rangoon was absolutely terrible. Hot and sour soup (one of my favorites) was sour and the crackers were so stale they didn’t even attempt to soak any soup. Chicken broccoli was made with mostly chicken skin or fat very little chicken. Wow, can’t find anything good to say tonight. Too bad, I really liked this place before!!!
I’ve ordered delivery twice from this restaurant in the past 2 months. The delivery was extremely fast even during a bad snow day and food was very fresh. The garlic chicken is literally the best I have had in Des Moines! Which is saying something as I’m very picky. Also the portions were generous. I had plenty leftover for lunch the following day and was still stuffed. Prices are somewhat higher compared to others, but it was worth it.
Average. Very average Chinese Food. The egg rolls and crab rangoons are small and didn’t taste fresh.
Horrible food and service. Quoted the incorrect price over the phone and wasn’t informed. Unknown meat substance in meals. Don’t waste your money!
Excellent service, food is always amazing. General Tso’s is my favorite.
