Delicious. Girls day out and we tried a variety of items on the menu. The food was fresh, delicious and served beautifully. We were able to look out over the outside addition to the Botanical Center and the River. The restaurant was a little cool so take a sweater.
BEWARE bring your own silverware. I’ve worked at Trellis almost a year and the food is good if your into the foody/health thing (if you just want a hamburger or something simple your out of luck) BUT I just wanted to warn the world that the kitchen is an extremely uncleanly place. I risk losing my job if the insanely repressed owner figures out who wrote this but excluding me, the cooks almost never wash their hands, the dishes and silverware are not at all properly cleaned (I mean they are put through an industrial washer however they aren’t scrubbed at all and at least a couple utensils per wash end up with food residue left over), and I’ve seen one waitress pick her nose several times (no name but beware a brunette). If you are anywhere near as germaphobic as me I would strongly recommend you pack your own lunch when visiting the botanical garden.
