Had a really great time here! The appetizers were decent, but the spinach artichoke sandwich was incredible! Good staff, very friendly and attentive. Beer was good with a lot of can and bottle choices and a decent draft selection.

This place is by far my favorite sports bar in the Des Moines area. The great food, service, and atmosphere sets it far above all of its competition IMO.
Solid burgers
The garlic mashed potatos are great. Service was good and staff was pleasant. A bit loud but the kids loved being able to watch playoff hockey on their own personal tv. Overall food was good in taste, quantity and price.
A solid meal. I was in Des Moines for National Guard training and just completed a 10 mile road march. I was starving. A few people said they were getting together for food and drinks at Trophy’s. When they asked me to join I jumped at the chance to get food. Maybe my hunger is why I liked Trophy’s so well. You’ll have to be the judge.Trophy’s is attached to a bowling alley which kind of threw me off. It’s a complete sportsbar but you can see the bowlers. It also has sand volleyball pits and TVs in every booth.I ordered a lot of food and I cleaned my plate. I started with the triple play (I hate the way sportsbars name their food) for an appetizer ($10.49). It had three items: jalapeno poppers, mozzarella cheese sticks, and chicken wings/legs. Everything tasted good but I bit into the first popper to quickly and the entire contents squirted out all over the front of my clothes. For a main course I had the Friday night special, prime rib. I ordered the 10 oz variety medium rare. It came just the way I like it. I think all medium rare prime ribs should be cooked that way. The prime rib comes with an assortment of sides. Mixed vegetables that are actually fresh and cut into larger pieces and served in a bowl. Choice of potato (I ordered garlic mash) and another choice of side (I ordered cottage cheese). There was a lot of food and everything was well prepared. The prime rib was served with au jus and horseradish sauce on the side. I cleaned my plate and washed everything down with a 24 oz draw of beer. They also have an extensive beer selection. To summarize, I recommend you give Trophy’s a shot. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.Triple Play $10.49Friday Prime Rib 10 oz $13.9924 oz Bud Light draft $3.75Sales tax $1.47Total bill: $29.70
