Though the outside of the place is easy to look over … the inside had a warm, clean and relaxing ambiance. Service was fast and friendly. A waiter, who was not ours, even came over and offered our kids a plastic aid for their chopsticks. The rainbow roll was wonderful! A great family dining experience!
Worst dining experience ever!! Had 7 people so called ahead. They never wrote it down. Waited for 55 minutes for a table. They actually seated everyone but us, even people who came in 25 minutes after us. After we finally got seated, it was another hour for our food. They told us they were making rolls as they came in but people who ordered after us got their sushi before us. Food wasn’t very good after all that. 2 1/2 hours to get some mediocre sushi is not the way to do business.
Our family’s favorite sushi restaurant! Great food, best potstickers in town. Service is top notch. Great atmosphere. Always new chef’s choice items to try. Desserts are also amazing.
The food is a amazing! Every time I go in the and the service is great! People are friendly! I always sit at the bar because of the bartender! He is amazing! Always asks questions and sometimes remembers who I am or my friends are from weeks prior to eating there! Not only that, but he knows his drinks and his stuff!! He is really inviting and I really enjoy the atmosphere there mainly did to his service! The food is out of this world fresh and amazing as well! Overall a great place to eat, relax and hang out!
Went for the first time on my birthday tonight and the sushi was amazing. Myabi 9 is our frequented sushi spot but I have to say wasabi chi was incredible! Even brought a great creme brle out for my birthday!
Love it!. I feel very lucky to live so close to such a wonderful sushi place. This is easily my favorite sushi restaurant and I have been to a majority of the restaurants in and around Des Moines. It is always fresh and and I feel it’s very innovative. I love to try a new roll each time, but keep coming back to the Spicy Girl Roll.
Simply Awesome. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Great spot. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, but shouldn’t be a surprise coming from a sushi chef from NY who moved to Des Moines for the family friendly culture. Was here on business, and wish I could wrap these guys up and take them home to St. Louis where I’m from. We have some pretty great sushi places, but this would be far and above my favorite.
