Dinner was excellent! I would love to visit Dubuque again just for Bierstube. Ask Matt about the beer you should drink!!
Delicious!. The Schweinebraten, potatoes, and red cabbage were great! We called ahead for a group of 11 people. The back room was great for a group conversation over good food and drink. They serve Millstream (and other good beers), so that’s a bonus.

Good food good prices. The food at the Bierstube is very good as well as economical. The beef rouladin is quite tasty as is the cabbage and statzel that comes with the meal. Their dinner hours are kind of limited, but other than that it a very nice place for a good meal.
Good food – dingy bar atmosphere – and make sure to have cash or a check – NO CREDIT! 🙁
