Overall thumbs down for 8 or more.. Great atmosphere, lousy service for large parties. Food was ok but not spectacular. Note for corporate travelers that they dont take Amex.
Although the alligator nuggets were good, the rest of the food left much to be desired. Beautiful atmosphere to sit and have a beer but keep on rollin down the river if you’re looking for great food!
Great Experience!. I ate here a week or so ago with my boyfriend. We sat on the deck, atmosphere was nice, wait-staff very attentive, and the food was delicious!! Prices are fair and the drink-menu is nice as well. Will totally be back!!

Very Good. Very good. I was here last Friday for lunch, and came back yesterday. Fish was the best I’ve had in a long time. Our waiter, Dave, was excellent.
Great River Food with fun and friendly staff.. Well I have to start by saying I grew up back east on the coast and good food here in Dubuque is hard to find. The Shrimp here is great. Salmon is wonderful{ beautiful pink, moist, and wonderful sauce} . I can’t say anything about the catfish since I never order that anywhere. LOL … the FRIES are simply THE BEST in town. cut fresh and golden. {the other guest must be use to all the bad cooks in town and not use to good fresh fries.} Lastly, People of Dubuque are cheap and if a dinner with drinks cost more than $11.00 it was over priced{and i wonder how much dbqers tip??} . I find the cost is reasonable and the staff is friendly.
Went for lunch. Got a salad w chicken and husband got fish and chips. Not that good. Chicken was awful! Tasted like a microwaved chicken breast! Flavorless and rubbery! Fish wasn’t cooked long enough. Breading was soggy and fries were burnt. Server wasn’t friendly and was knowledgable about the menu. Server was sloppy. Salad, fish/chips, and 2 diet cokes= 32.00!!! not good at all!!
