Awful service, decent food.. The service here has always been horrendous in my experience. You will get poor service if it is even minimally busy and/or you’re not a regular. Somehow it always feels like I sit at the invisible table. We have to beg to get served and get refills. Then we have to beg for our bill and for them to take our money. One week, a bill was never brought to us and our waitress was absolutely MIA (or we didn’t recognize her because she never came back to our table after dropping off drinks). I only go back every week because trivia night is awesome (Go Fun N Games Company!).
Awful. Just awful. I don’t normally write bad reviews but if you are looking for good food and decent service go elsewhere. We were there for lunch on a Sunday with a party of 5. The food was terrible-ordered a BLT which came out with no tomato. They added it when I asked. Wrap just dry-no sauce to speak of. My husband and niece and nephew finally started getting their own refills from the soda machine after waiting for half an hour. We will not eat there again. No organization and just plain bad food.
Food/Service eh, poor communication. The food is okay at this restaurant/bar. The people who run it aren’t good at communicating to others when there are special events going on at the bar. During college football season on Saturday’s when the Hawkeyes play, Courtside has reserve seating in the entire establishment. This wouldn’t be a problem except for the fact that until you walk into the place you have no idea that this is their policy. We ended up going somewhere else when the wait staff waited until we ordered beers to inform us that we would be standing the whole game because we hadn’t paid money to get reserved seating.
