Great neighborhood bar with a lot of personality! Great lunches, good prices, only downside is food isn’t served at other times. Extremely friendly owner, staff and regulars! Impeccably clean, great free popcorn, only downside is the parking sucks when they’re busy. Wonderful place for a drink after work. Many bars in Dubuque could qualify as the ‘best bar’ for many different reasons, so I’m not going to say it’s the best in town. But it’s definitely my favorite and worthy of your business if you’re driving by.
Great lunch menu, friendly wait staff. Denny’s is a small bar on the west end of Dubuque that serves up a great lunch. They have a wide variety of soup, sandwiches, and salads. They do tend to get busy at this time of day, but the wait is worth it. Very good offerings of tap beers as well.
