Horrible place! Very rude.. I ordered my order for delivery I got it and opened it up and it was completely wrong. Called and talked to a manager and he refused to do anything about it said it was my fault. He was completely unprofessional and rude! Would not recommend this to anyone!
Food is ok. Check containers before you leave if getting take home. We asked for no mushrooms and got one dish full of them. Also, the menu posted here is not a menu for this restaurant. Again, food is ok but nothing to rave about.

I moved to Dubuque two years ago from the east coast. I have been craving great Chinese food since then. I asked around and no one could name a great restaurant here. I happen to hear a lady at work talking about House of China ..so that night I went to try it out. Great food, great services , friendly staff …this is where I will only eat for Chinese food! The best
Fantastic Food. Excellent food and service. Egg drop soap and crab rangoons outstanding.Best Chianese food in Dubuque.
I haven’t been here in years, but decided to take a trip down memory lane. It has not changed much. The interior decor is still the same – fancier Chinese wall sculptures. The food has gotten spicer – which I like. The Chinese food here is very Americanized. It is definately designed towards Mid-Western tastes. Last night, I had the Hot & Sour Soup which could have used more soy sauce, but clearly spicy. Main course I had the Shrimp & Chicken. More gravy-like than I like, but it was good enough for me to eat the whole dish. My husband had the Double Cooked Pork which he liked alot. Heavy on the hiosin sauce. Our server was attentive, almost hovering. Not a bad place to have a casual Chinese dinner in Iowa.
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!. FOOD- FCustomer service- FI strongly urge that no one eats here. Worst experience of my life.
