We tried Salsa’s for a late lunch today. There are two large rooms filled with tables and booths in addition to the long bar. Our server greeted us and seated us immediately and then brought out a basket of crisp tortilla chips and and a blended hot salsa. He refilled that as well as our beverages immediately when they ran out. For lunch I had the Tacos De Carne Azada with beans and rice. Each of the tacos is actually double-shelled and full of excellently seasoned chopped beef steak and came wrapped in its own foil. It was served with a pico de gallo and a ranchero sauce. It included a second plate of rice and beans. Huge portions. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. The beans were a mite salty and runny but overall I really enjoyed the entire meal. My partner had enchiladas and said they were very good. Also a huge portion.I was very pleased with the service, the value, and the flavors.
Will not return. Yes the restaurant was crowded..but it took over an hour to get our food and the waiters never came back to check on us for more drinks…food was mediocre at best…other tables also were experiencing the same issues….we will not return
