Fab Pizza. Nothing special here- other than the fabulous ‘Za that these people create! If you crave appetizers and sides, it’s not the place to go. But then again, once the pizza comes out -hot and tasty- all sins are forgiven! 🙂 Outstanding pizza!

This place is an Iowa City icon from the decor to the food. Pizza doesn’t get any better than this.

As a transplanted east coaster, I cannot understand the appeal of this place. This is essentially frozen pizza. Served in a restaurant. Save the cash, drop into HyVee, and grab a Tombstone.

Not like Chicago thin crust!. I have lived in Chicago,Illinois and Scottsdale,Arizona and wanted thin crust pizza. The crust was good(not great) and the toppings were fresh and good quality. It was not over spiced and it had a nice color(not over or under cooked). The restaurant is very small, tightly packed/crowded. Not very organized in the kitchen/pizza making area. I would try it again, just not on a busy weekend.

Ate here only because everyone said it was an Iowa City tradition. However we were not that impressed with the pizza;rather bland sauce and really nothing special.

Overpriced and average at best. It’s no secret that Pagliai’s stocks the front with dozens of frozens pizza, which isn’t surprising, as their pizza tastes like a frozen, grocery store pizza. Crust is bland and papery in texture, sauce is weak and topping choices are limited.

Overrated. Not really any great pizza places in Iowa City
