Apsolutely delicious. The service was great. We met some friends here and it was a very nice evening. I would recommend you bring your family into to try for yourselves.
Terrible in every way: gluey pasta, tasteless sauce, fishy fish, stale bread, boring salad, and all of it overpriced. And the staff started cleaning around the table before the dinner was done.
Best Italian food in Iowa City!. Best Italian food hands down! Hand crafted food using fresh ingredients. Great wine list to compliment the food.

Delicious appetizers, beautiful dcor, wonderful staff. The food at Baroncini appeared simple, but the food presentation was beautiful and the flavors had remarkable depth. We shared a few dishes; all of them were amazing! For a dessert we had a beautifully decorated Tiramisu!We were lucky enough to sit in a spacious booth, but it was fairly noisy, since our seat was near the kitchen. I was surprised that I was able to hear loud noises from the kitchen; they sounded like throwing pans to a sink. These loud and sharp noises were pretty annoying. I know Ill certainly be returning soon for delicious appetizers, beautiful dcor, wonderful staff, but I will not seat near the kitchen.
Great food. We were in town to visit someone in the hospital and made reservations here because of the great reviews. Initially, we were disappointed as we weren’t greeted for 10 minutes, it took 20 minutes to be seated and then our drinks were very slow to arrive. We expressed disappointment and the owner stopped by and then things picked up and the food was amazing. We would definitely return again and give it another try. I also lost a really nice earring that night and Maria, our server, found it and called me back the next day.
Some if the best food I’ve had in Iowa. The food was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the food and the wine pairings. I look forward to returning next time I am in Iowa City.
