Unfortunately, after many years of serving the downtown area; the Brown Bottle is closing this location. However, the North Liberty location is alive and well.
This was one of my favorite spots when I attended college in Iowa City 25 years ago. As a poor college student, it was always a special treat, and now as an adult, it still is. Intimate atmosphere makes for a great romantic spot.
