I had never had crepes before visiting Crepes de Luxe, and now I’m afraid that I’ll be disappointed if I go anywhere else! This tiny eclectic restaurant will satisfy anyone’s taste (they have sweet and savory options; both are delicious) and the pricing is great if you’re a college student on a budget. Although it is small and there are almost always people there, you probably won’t have to worry about finding a seat. The best part about this place, aside from the taste, is the presentation. They take time to make your food look beautiful, and that might be the most telling characteristic of how great this place is.
We r traveling from out of town from Cincinnati, OH and we were looking for a good different place to eat and we definitely found a great new place. Anytime we are driving through Iowa City again I think that we have to come back and go again. We got the Ratatouille and the Herb Chicken Crepes and they were both delicious. As well as the Valentin Crepe for desert. Our visit in one word – Delish!!!!!!!! On top of the great food the service was great and that owners were very friendly and personable. If in Iowa City this is a must try!
